Power Bands are great for obtaining maximum resistance through a greater range of motion with squats, deadlifts, rows, military and bench presses. Also wonderfully effective for stretching muscles and tractioning joints.
I find Power Bands invaluable for training athletes who are trying to achieve their first pull-up. We start with a heavy band and gradually reduce the size of the band as the athlete becomes stronger. Eventually, the athlete is able to do pull-ups unassisted. I've even started using the bands in training my one-arm pull-ups.
